Over our thousands of installations here are just a handful of occasions where CTI group revealed immediate cost saving and fraudulent behaviour.

1 – A Florida School discovered an eBay shop was being run out of one of the classrooms. This was discovered when we were testing our product shortly after installation.

2 - A client hospital had their phone system hacked into, via their voice activated voicemail system. In one month alone they had telephony call costs of £40,000 over their usual bill. This encouraged them to introduce more CTI Solutions into their hospital group.

3 - A medical research centre in London was the victim of internal crime with calls being made via their fax machine to locations in Cuba, East Africa and Asia. Call costs ran to £5,000 in one month which was devastating for a small/medium enterprise. They now have Proteus Office installed and can sleep easy.

4 - After a Proteus installation at a County school in Florida, staff discovered that they had an entire ISDN 30 pipe that they were not using and was not needed. That saving alone paid for the whole installation.

5 -  A premium rate number company paid the cleaners in a company to call certain numbers at the start of their cleaning round and then hang up before they went home.  Something the company didn't find out about until they received call analysis.

6 - A heavy goods vehicle service company averted a lengthy and 6 figure court case by proving they had warned their haulage company client not to use a faulty refridgeration unit after collection, but instead they ignored the warning and went on to lose thousands of pounds worth of fresh scottish salmon cargo bound for Spain. The client failed to reclaim the cost from the service company when the prosecuter's lawyers were presented with a call recording of the conversation prior to collection.

7 - A costly HR tribunal was avoided when through call recording, it was proved a call centre staff member had been wrongly accused of making abusive phone calls, her phone login pin had been used by someone else to enter the system to harass an ex boyfriend.
