Broadsoft
SmartRecord IP takes advantage of the Broadsoft lawful intercept feature by initiating the flow of recorded calls to the recording server. After the call is set up, the Broadsoft Application Server (AS) sends an ASN.1 stream to the SmartRecord IP ASN server. A SIP invite is initiated for the originating and terminating party to the SmartRecord IP SIP server.
RTP from the originating party is sent to the Media Server (MS) and from the PSTN Gateway (or terminating party) to the MS.
RTP is sent for both parties once again from the MS to the SmartRecord IP recorder. SmartRecord IP uses the ASN, SIP and the RTP streams for both parties to match one call record to one recording.
